PAT KAYE

Pat studied ceramics at the Huddersfield School of Art before becoming a pottery teacher at Royds Hall Grammar School, Halifax School of Art and Huddersfield College. In 1965 she launched her own pottery workshop in Halifax, and in 1979 moved to Holywell Green to convert an old derelict barn into the Throstle Nest Pottery and Gallery, which she ran successfully for 30-years before retiring to north Wales in 2008.
